Citizens welcomed the announcement of the imminent opening of the Mula gynecological unit, with the necessary staff and equipment.
The center will serve women from the municipalities of Mula, Campos del Río, Pliego and Albudeite.
The orange training has shown its satisfaction because it is a right of the women of the region who need this service to carry out all the protocols properly.
In addition, they will avoid having to travel to other locations, or they will be forced to go to private gynecologists.
On September 11, 2017, Ciudadanos registered a motion in the Regional Assembly to reinstate the service.
This proposal was approved last October 18 in the Health and Social Services Commission.
Given the negligence of the regional government, on May 3, Cs registered an interpellation addressed to the Minister of Health, Manuel Villegas, to give explanations in the Regional Assembly on the reasons why the gynecological unit had not been reinstated.
The publication of this initiative was a turning point, because, from that moment, the appropriate measures were taken to return this service to the health center of Mula.
