The six mayors of the municipalities of the Northwest and Río Mula, together with the councilors responsible for the tourism areas, participated in the Governing Board of the Commonwealth of Tourist Services, held in the Consulate of Mula.
During the session, several agreements were adopted and the commitment to strengthen the commonwealth was established to continue working jointly in a complementary tourism, which makes the destination more attractive and manages to encourage overnight stays in the municipalities.
Among the measures planned, is the realization of a plan of common activities to be developed in the short and medium term.
On the other hand, it was agreed to submit the adhesion to the Electronic Administration Project of the Autonomous Community to the Plenary of the Commonwealth, complying with the obligation to adapt to the regulations contained in Law 39/2015 and Law 40/2015.
The presidency of the Commonwealth of Tourism Services of the Northwest and Rio Mula, rotating charge between the different municipalities that make it up, happens to be held by the mayor of Calasparra, José Vélez, and vice president by the de Moratalla, Jesus Amo.
