Mula commemorates the International Day Against Violence Against Women with various activities (16/11/2010)

16/11/1910 The Department of Higher and Equality has organized various activities to celebrate the 25th November the International Day for the Elimination of Violence among women.

Some of the activities include an exhibition of paintings, entitled They, reflects the work done in a paint shop for women that took place on 4 November at the Specialty Care Center for Women Victims of Violence Gender (CAVI).

The exhibition will be installed in the Exhibition Hall of the Municipal Library from 22 to 30 November.

In this sense, on Sunday November 21 will be a hiking route in the vicinity of Mula and commemoration in memory of women victims of gender violence by Mula Athletics Club Sport.

The start will take place at 10:00 hours Gabarrón Christopher Park.

The route will end about 13:00.

Participants will be given white ribbons, a symbol against domestic violence.

On Monday 22 November at the Assembly Hall of the Municipal Library, 19 to 20:30, will be screened short on gender violence to be opened after a debate in order to analyze concrete cases and promote prevention early forms of violence and deepen the effects of psychological violence in the emotional and physical health of women.

On Thursday, November 25, International Day Against Violence Against Women, Senior Councillor and Equality, Pilar Paniagua, Forces and State Security professionals CAVI, the Equal Opportunities Officer and the Coordinator of the Health Center, participate in a radio broadcast, from 11:00 am.

At 19:00 pm in the plaza of the Asylum, is hosting the ceremony commemorating the International Day Against Violence Against Women.

This event will screen the video The Dead Women's Club after the mayor, Diego Cervantes, read the manifesto against Gender Violence.

The participants will be presented with white ribbons and candles and observed a minute's silence in memory of women victims of gender violence.
