The horses of the holding, only available for food, had manifested cachexia and thinness
Civil Guard officers in the Murcia Region, in collaboration with the veterinary staff of the Directorate General of Livestock of the autonomous region, have been immobilized the animals found in Equestrian Art School located in the town of Mula, by weaknesses in animal welfare in which the 28 animals were found at the disposal center.
At the time of the inspection were found at the scene a stallion, 26 mares and foals under one year old.
Although the sanitary conditions of the facilities were adequate, deficiencies were found relating to the welfare of horses, because they were not adequately fed and showed signs of wasting or thinness manifests.
Beyond this, one of the mares was sick and facilities manager at the time of the inspection did not provide home health documentation of horses, and the justification for inscription equestrian school registration horse farms or animal compounds.
