The folk groups "Mülenen Joy" and "Mülenen" will be honored on Friday, September 2, for the work, effort and dedication they have been doing for decades for conservation and maintenance of traditional folk values ​​of the Shire River Mula .
Both groups, cultural and folkloric, maintain a school folk dance and music, educating children of different ages about the folklore of this land.
The tribute is done by the Neighborhood Association of the District of San Felipe, celebrated in a ceremony to be held on Friday September 2 at 20:30 pm, after the inauguration of the celebrations of that neighborhood.
The board of the Neighborhood Association has stated that "were it not for the work of these two groups, as well as any other group Friends of folk music, as it is worth the Lucas, this tradition would be lost in Mula" .
The Board wanted to also express the thanks to the Federation Cultural and festive San Isidro for the decade of effort and hard work and made from 1994 to 2005, in the promotion and maintenance of folk culture and impetus to festival of San Isidro, always from the customs and traditions, even though to stop working in 2005, wishing her speedy return.
