The Cultural Association "Canico" visit the town of Mula (28/11/2012)

On Sunday, November 11, the Cultural Association "Canico" made an excursion to the beautiful town of Mula, a town that holds a rich and beautiful historical and artistic heritage, which is the first event organized by the Association.

Attendees enjoyed visiting the Roman archaeological site of "The Villaricos", located on the outskirts of the city.

Then they moved to downtown to visit the Museum Mula Monographic "The Cigarralejo", dedicated to this site Iberian located very near Mula.

Both places were superbly explained by Jose Antonio Gonzalez.

Callejeamos Below the streets of historic Mula, one of the best, if not the best, in the Region of Murcia.

In the Plaza del Ayuntamiento could taste typical products in a craft market.

From there we went to eat at a restaurant also located in the center of Mula.

The afternoon was bleak by wind and rain, but that did not stop the imposing castle visitásemos Mula, perfectly explained by our colleague José Antonio, and the boldest braved inclement weather and went to the same gateway.

Finally, we visited the beautiful church of the Monastery of the Incarnation, to then return to our starting point, Totana.
