New pumping station to carry waste water to the treatment plant Bathrooms Mula (05/11/2015)

The Ministry of Water, Agriculture and Environment has tendered the works for the construction of a pumping station and wastewater flows conduct leading from Los Baños de Mula Mula until the treatment plant.

The project will benefit about one hundred inhabitants of the villages of the bathrooms and Puebla.

The area of ​​Los Baños de Mula has a network of sanitation required to properly complete the implementation of the purification system, a connection to the existing networks with the water treatment plant to Mula.

The action planned by the Council envisages the construction of a pumping station wastewater, which will be located in one of the lowest in the hamlet of Los Banos areas, but high enough to not be affected by the flooding of the river Mula.

Since the projected pumping station designed a pipeline of more than two kilometers to the Los Corrales and from there, another pipeline that runs 355 meters in a southwesterly direction, by private roads and fields, until joining the collector down from La Puebla and carrying flows to the pumping station of La Puebla de Mula, to finally push them to the WWTP Mula.

The planned investment for these works amounts to 1,127,633 euros, financed by the Ministry of Water, Agriculture and Environment, with a lead time of eight months from the start of the work.
