The Ministry of Public Works and Infrastructure, through the Directorate General of Highways, has formalized with Ferrovial Agroman company awarded the contract for the award of the works of replacement and improvement of the firm of RM-C2 road linking the districts of La Puebla de Mula and Source Librilla, both belonging to the municipality of Mula.
The performance, with a budget of 746,233 euros, will allow the regularization of firm over a length of 16.1 kilometers.
Currently, the road "is the firm deteriorated and deformed with longitudinal cracks, making the surface is very irregular," said the General Director of Roads, Jose Antonio Fernandez.
Therefore, he added, "it is necessary to conduct a performance of pavement strengthening to improve the characteristics of the road surface."
Fernandez said that "high traffic records on the stretch of road between the towns of La Puebla de Mula and Source Librilla, with more than 1,000 daily trips, have deteriorated the state of the platform, which has strains of lower layers of the package firm, which leads us to intervene to ensure optimum levels of safety and conduct ".
For the regularization of the firm will proceed to cleaning and sanitizing in braziers area, as well as widening platform.

After completing work on the sign, road markings painted on the side margins and vertical signaling is reset.
