González and Diego Cervantes Tovar lay the foundation stone of the new City Hall Multipurpose Mula (31/07/2009)

The Government delegate and the mayor participated in the concentration of revulsion at the attack by ETA in the Balearic Islands

This morning the government delegate in the Region of Murcia, Rafael González Tovar, and the mayor of Mula, Diego Cervantes Diaz, have laid the foundation stone of the new City Hall Multipurpose this town located on Fair Street, next to the Bus Station.

This work is included in projects funded entirely by the Government of Spain under the Local Investment Fund.

As for the work mentioned, Mula Mayor pointed out that the Local Government Board, at its meeting dated April 20, 2009, agreed the award of this work, amounting to 979,466.88 euros and a lead time seven months and generates 20 direct jobs.

It is free of dividing a building of 3 storeys above ground and ground floor.

The parcel area is 737.23 m2 and a construction area of 1773.24 m2.

This action will provide multidisciplinary Mula a building with modern facilities and tailored to the needs of users of the same, and will house the new market hall and the School of Music, and two of the most emblematic associations our city, as are film Chomón Second Club and the Association of drums.

The Government delegate also pointed out that the State Fund 2,932,695 euros allocated to 21 projects in Mule, which has already paid 70 percent of the budgets of all the works, 2,017,132 euros.

On the other hand, has welcomed the increase from 74 percent in job creation over the initial estimates, since the State Fund works in Mula create 261 jobs, of which 53 are newly created and 208 of persons within the successful tenderers.

Moreover, Gonzalez Tovar reported that to date, the Ministry of Planning Policy has been transferred to 43 municipalities in the region EUR 159,880,424, corresponding to 629 projects have received funding for the 70 percent of the total payment projects.

In this sense, González Tovar explained that since late last June, is beginning to pay the completion of the work of the State Fund in the region.

In particular, Lorca and Santomera municipalities have already received the final payment of 5 projects.

In this sense, explained that, to date, have already created 12,620 jobs, of these, 4,082 are newly created, and 8538 of persons within the successful tenderers.
