Isabel Casalduero recalls that the researchers themselves have also requested that the most important grave goods found in the peninsula remain in the muleño museum, for reasons of geographical proximity to the site and conditions of custody, conservation and security
The deputy spokesperson of the Socialist Parliamentary Group Isabel Casalduero has demanded that the regional government comply with the municipality of Mula and allow the funeral trousseau found in tomb number 38 of the archaeological site of La Almoloya to remain in the City Museum, and to leave the idea to move it to the Archaeological Museum of Murcia.
Casalduero recalled that the General Directorate of Cultural Assets considered in March that the City of Mula Museum met the conditions for its deposit and exhibition.
"The researchers of the Autonomous University of Barcelona have also requested that the trousseau remain in the museum muleño for reasons of geographical proximity to the site and conditions of custody, conservation and security," he said.
In addition, the Socialist deputy has indicated that Mula, with its mayor at the head, has met an investment of more than 115,000 euros for the municipality to exhibit this discovery in its museum.
"For all this, we require the regional government to comply with Mula and allow the most important grave goods found in the peninsula to stay in the city of Mula, as promised at the time and following the criteria of the researchers," it is finished.
