A score of people, including two minors, have been arrested as alleged perpetrators of the crimes of belonging to a criminal group, drug trafficking, robbery with force, illegal possession of arms and money laundering
In the 13 records made, different types of drugs and effects related to illicit activity have been seized.
Four drug sales points have been dismantled in homes and another in a leisure place
The Civil Guard of the Region of Murcia, in the framework of the operation 'Levi', has dismantled a criminal organization based in Mula, which was dedicated to the trafficking of cannabis and cocaine and distributed the narcotic substances through four points of sale in houses and another in a public establishment, all of them dismantled.
The actions began last year 2018, when members of the Benemérita specialized in the Judicial Police detected that two groups of people, interacting with each other, were creating some social alarm among the residents of the mulero municipality, for their alleged link to the sale of diverse drugs to final consumers, not only neighbors of the municipality, but also of other nearby localities.
The first investigations allowed to verify that the suspects were, presumably, after the criminal activity investigated, and that the illicit substances with which they trafficked were marijuana, hashish resin and cocaine.
Apparently, the drugs were distributed to anyone who demanded them, detecting that many of their clients were minors who came on foot, with some assiduity, to the homes used by the dismantled organization as points of sale.
Drug sales were also verified in some local schools, for which they also employed members of both clans, also minors.
The main points of sale were in the medieval quarter of the city, which hindered any attempt to investigate and control its activities, since it is made up of places of difficult access, such as pedestrian streets, stairways, etc., thus they developed their illicit activities with a certain sense of impunity.
The civil guards verified that they were two different families, although with "commercial" links between them.
One of the clans had its main drug distribution points in two places: a house in the old area, under the castle, and a discotheque also in the town.
On the other hand, the investigation also focused on a known offender, member of the other family group, who interacted with the first.
This popular trafficker allegedly distributed the drug to minors through a public place in Mula and his home, also located in a place of difficult access in the town, since it can not be reached with four-wheeled vehicles.
The Civil Guard established a wide surveillance device on the suspects, in the vicinity of drug distribution points, which allowed to verify the illicit activity related to drug trafficking.
At the same time, an investigation was carried out on the patrimony of the suspects, which highlighted that the total income of the suspects differed significantly from the volume of expenses they faced and the standard of living they had.
As a result of the investigation, it was possible to specify the configuration of the criminal group investigated, the method to acquire the cocaine and the identity of the supplier of the same, in the case of a Colombian citizen living in Mula.
The drug supplier was supplied in different parts of the Madrid capital, to where he was traveling using the new shared private vehicle travel network, which he completed with trips in different public transport means, such as bus, taxi, etc.
Once all the necessary indications were obtained, at the end of last year, the exploitation of the first phase of the operation was carried out with a broad device made up of around a hundred agents of the Civil Guard and the Local Police of Mula. .
In this first phase the entry and registration of twelve properties was carried out, all of them in Mula, which resulted in the seizure of a significant amount of drugs ready for retail sale and indoor plantations of Cannabis Sativa, other effects related to the drug trafficking, vehicles and a stolen hunting gun, among others, and with the location and detention of most of the suspects.
In February of this year, the Civil Guard developed the second phase of the operation, when detecting a new trip to Madrid from the clan's drug supplier, for which two police surveillance devices were established in Murcia and Mula that allowed locating the suspicious of returning from a trip for the acquisition of drugs.
The investigators found a "double bottom" in the suitcase that it carried in which it hid more than half a kilo of cocaine presented in rock of great purity, reason why it was stopped.
In the registry carried out in the domicile of the latter, there were indications related to drug trafficking.
Finally, a woman, also a resident of Mula, was arrested and was engaged in the retail distribution of part of the cocaine that had been processed by the aforementioned supplier of Colombian nationality.
The investigation into the criminal group also focused on money laundering, in order to proceed with the judicial seizure of movable and immovable property that could be imputed as coming from the illegal drug trafficking activities that the investigated had been carrying out.
With the development of the operation, the Civil Guard has dismantled a criminal group dedicated to the trafficking of cannabis and cocaine, with the arrest of a score of people, two of them minors, who are attributed the alleged authorship of the crimes of belonging to a criminal group, against public health, illegal possession of weapons, theft with force in things, money laundering and electric power fraud.

In the records and other actions the Civil Guard has seized 65 kilos of cannabis sativa in buds, a plantation with more than 250 marijuana plants, more than half a kilo of cocaine of great purity, 6,000 euros in cash, precision scales , five touring cars (some high-end ones) and a motorcycle, technological devices, two knives and the necessary tools for the cultivation of marijuana, among others.
