The URBACT Network has been created to promote sustainable urban development by enabling cities to work together, take advantage of reciprocal experiences and strengthen their local capacities.
Each partner in the project will develop their own Integrated Action Plan to address specific obstacles and determine a strategy to achieve their local goals.
This document will benefit the participating cities, but will also allow the transfer of knowledge to other locations with similar characteristics.
The Kairós project is led by the City of Mula and focuses specifically on finding innovative solutions for the regeneration of degraded historical areas with a valuable cultural and natural heritage.
These areas can be an effective tool for the improvement of urban structures, social revitalization, tourism promotion and local economic growth.
The project will be developed in two phases:
Phase I of 6 months: from September 2, 2019 to March 1, 2020.
Phase II of 24 months: from March 2020 to March 2022.
