The Councilor for Tourism, Alejandra Martínez, attended the VI Working Group on Tourism Quality organized by the General Directorate of Tourism Competitiveness and Quality, at the Tourism Qualification Center of Murcia.
During the work session, the Director General of Tourism Competitiveness and Quality, María Esther Tenza Pérez, informed the destinations adhering to the Comprehensive Tourism Quality System, the balance and status of the SICTED in 2019 and the forecast for the December distinction committee, the one presented to obtain the quality label SICTED the Rural Hospedería de Casas Nuevas.
The SICTED is a project to improve the quality of tourist destinations promoted by the Ministry of Tourism (SET), with the support of the Spanish Federation of Municipalities and Provinces (FEMP), which works with tourism companies / services up to 32 different trades, with the ultimate goal of improving the experience and satisfaction of the tourist.
The City Council participates in this project through the Tourist Association of Sierra Espuña.
Currently, of the 9 companies adhering to the project, the Rural Hospedería de Casas Nuevas and the Tourist Office of Mula participate in this quality system.
