The Civil Guard of the Region of Murcia has developed the operation 'INOX-440', an investigation aimed at clarifying a series of crimes against the patrimony committed in Mula, which has resulted in the identification, location and detention of an experienced criminal that the alleged authorship of the crimes of robbery with violence and intimidation and theft is attributed to him.
The proceedings began last Friday, November 15, when the Civil Guard detected the commission of several crimes against heritage inside public establishments in the municipality of Muleño.
These were acts perpetrated by a single individual, who acted with his face covered so as not to be recognized and, on two occasions, came to threaten his victims with a knife in order to get hold of the valuable effects they carried on that moment.
Criminal acts that, due to their reiteration, intimidation used in some cases (with ostentation and use of a white weapon), and especially the impunity with which, until now, the author had acted, generated social alarm among the neighbors of the location.
Effective Prevention of Citizen Security of the Benemérita found that after the crimes investigated was a single individual, who took certain security measures such as hiding his face to avoid being identified.
He threatened to prick his victims with the knife
It has also been found that in two of the cases, the assailant did not hesitate to intimidate his victims with a knife he carried, which he could have used to avoid any kind of resistance on the part of his victims to be stripped of their belongings.
As a result of the evidence and evidence obtained during the investigation, the civil guards managed, in a short space of time, to identify a neighbor of the locality, with a bulky criminal record and convicted of similar crimes, which was allegedly after the criminal acts investigated

Circumstance that allowed him, both to previously monitor his victims, and, once the criminal act was consummated, to flee with some agility and take refuge immediately in his home.

Once all the necessary evidence was obtained, the Civil Guard established a search device on the suspect who has culminated in his location and detention as the alleged perpetrator of the crimes of robbery with violence and intimidation and theft.
The operation 'INOX-440' has culminated in the arrest and bringing to justice of an experienced criminal, to whom the alleged authorship of five crimes against property is attributed.
Entry into prison of the arrested
The 33-year-old Spanish detainee, a neighbor of Mula and with numerous records and the proceedings taken, have been made available to the Court of Instruction of Mula (Murcia), which has decreed the prisoner's entry into prison.
