The vice president and counselor of Women, Equality, LGTBI, Families and Social Policy, Isabel Franco, met yesterday with the mayors who are part of the Mula River Social Services Commonwealth, to learn first-hand about the current situation of the social services of the Four municipalities
In the meeting held with the president of the Commonwealth and mayor of Albudeite, José Luis Casales;
and the mayors of Mula, Juan Jesús Moreno;
Pliego, Antonio Huéscar;
and Bullas, María Dolores Muñoz, discussed issues related to social benefits to their neighbors and transferred proposals to the vice president to make it possible to fulfill the places in day centers and early care centers.
In the meeting it was agreed to analyze the regional budgets, for, as explained by Minister Isabel Franco, "to be able to plan and offer all the social services that citizens need by optimizing resources in the four municipalities."
In addition, at the meeting, Isabel Franco presented to the mayors of the Commonwealth of Social Services Río Mula the application DIBAS (System of Data and Indicators of Social Action), which will allow the Administration, from its launch the year that It comes, planning investments and developing a more agile and effective political management of Social Services.
It is a mobile application, aimed at politicians and Social Services technicians of the different municipalities of the Region of Murcia, which serves to know the status of the actions in dependence, basic income, primary care and minors.
In short, it includes the main actions and resources of the Regional Administration in the area of ​​Social Services.
This digital tool, which is being developed thanks to the IT support of the Murciano Institute of Social Action (IMAS) and has been funded by the European Social Fund, will report on the services provided based on different categories of information, such as age and sex, and also let you know the number of places or people served in real time.
In addition, you can define the area of ​​interest and mark the indicators that most interest the user, such as valuations, waiting list or beneficiaries, among other data.
The counselor valued the creation of this application "as an exercise in transparency, as it will be possible to know the investments and active programs in the field of Social Services throughout the Region of Murcia."
