The Mayor-President of the Hon.
Mula City Council, Juan Jesús Moreno García, has held, today, a meeting with the Minister of Health, Manuel Villegas, in the offices of the Ministry in Murcia.
In this meeting, the first mayor of Muleño has requested the provision of one more doctor for the regional health center of Mula, as this would allow to open a new quota, in addition to having a day doctor in the emergency department.
It has also required the incorporation of a nurse for said center, since repeatedly, from the direction of the center, said request has been made, with the added handicap that the pediatric service does not have a nurse or nurse.
The Muleño councilor has also exposed the existing problem in the district of Casas Nuevas, due to the lack of an administrator for the collection of appointments of the users of the regional center of Mula.
As for the emergency department, Moreno has shown the need to establish the pediatric service, as well as the improvement of the electromedicine-related equipment (ultrasound scanners, vital signs monitors, etc.), also pointing out that it would be convenient to increase by two more hours, the emergency surveillance service.
Finally, and due to the geographical dispersion of the Mula River region, the Mayor has expressed the need to provide the non-assistance ambulance with a basic life support, from which the second medical team would benefit when required for another service.
Juan Jesús Moreno wanted to show, at the end of said meeting, the relaxed atmosphere of said meeting, which he described as productive and in which he highlighted the disposition of the Director to solve the different problems raised.
