Statement from the General Director of Educational Centers and Infrastructure of CARM:

Given the risk of spread of COVID-19 contagion existing in our Autonomous Community, taking into account the recommendations made by the health authorities and taking as a precedent the recent confirmed cases in two educational centers in the Murcian capital, the Ministry of Education and Culture has decided to suspend the face-to-face teaching activity in all the educational centers of the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia from next Monday, March 16, 2020 until next March 29, 2020, thus fulfilling the 14 days of preventive quarantine that marks the sanitary protocol.

This decision is adopted in order to avoid unnecessary risks for students, and in general, to prevent the spread of the virus among Murcian society.
