The Councilor for Education of the City of Mula, Diego Jesús Boluda, has held a meeting by videoconference with all the directors of the Infant, Primary and Secondary schools of Mula and its districts.
The Adult School has also been present.
A fruitful meeting in which all the parties have shown their concern and current uncertainty regarding the situation that the schools are facing as of tomorrow, a day in which the teaching activity is resumed and how the last school term will be faced.
Each center has been exposing to the Councilor how they are managing this exceptional situation of face-to-face education from their centers as well as their different needs.
Both educational centers and the Councilor have agreed on the need to protect and protect those students who are more vulnerable to telematic work due to the socioeconomic and cultural situation of their families.
The Councilor for Education has transferred to them the firm will of the Government Team to carry out those measures that guarantee that no student in the municipality is left behind and is harmed, so they have been reflecting on the different alternatives that can correct this vulnerability situation in an effective way.
The Councilor has collected all the proposals that the different directors have been expressing and has given them, for their joint assessment by all, some of the approaches that the City Council has been studying, even if they are not municipal competences, to manage successfully the demands that students and schools have and thus guarantee the correct educational development of all students, a priority objective.
They have been summoned to hold another meeting next week since it will be possible to better assess and specify those measures to be adopted once we have received the official instructions that come out of the Ministry and which we are waiting for.
Finally, Diego Boluda has expressed all the support, encouragement and strength from the entire Municipal Corporation, both for the management teams and for all of its cloisters, guaranteeing that the City Council is next to the education sector, the students and their families in these difficult moments, without distinction of centers whatever their ownership.
