The data offers a 40 percent increase in tourism compared to the same period last yearHe has visited the upper neighborhoods of the town where the Kairós Urban Regeneration and Development Program takes placeThe deputy and general secretary of the PSRM-PSOE, Diego Conesa, visited the municipality of Mula this morning, accompanied by the mayor of Mula, Juan Jesús Moreno, members of the local government team and the regional deputy, Fernando Moreno.During the visit, various aspects were discussed, mainly related to tourism, in which Mula has been working intensively and where data has been registered above 40 percent compared to the previous year, "which shows, despite the pandemic that inland tourism is a key bet in the Murcia Region ”, highlighted Juan Jesús Moreno.The secretary general of the Socialists has promised, in turn, to bring the Sierra Espuña Brand project to the Regional Assembly, in which the Mula City Council is working together with the municipalities that make up the Sierra Espuña Commonwealth, and that requires the collaboration of regional and central governments, as well as city councils.This Brand is a clear opportunity to continue showing the enormous potential of the inland regions both in terms of tourism, leisure and gastronomy.Conesa has also visited the upper neighborhoods of the city Mula where a European project for regeneration and enhancement, the Kairós Project, is currently being developed, and for which Mula will seek new aid at European level to continue working in these spaces “which are the true identity of Mula ”, explained Juan Jesús Moreno.Diego Conesa has also taken stock of both the health and educational situation in the Region of Murcia and has asked for greater investment in teachers to avoid blended attendance in educational centers in the Region, the only one that has taken this measure, and to be able to contribute to the work-life balance of families and equal opportunity for students.Concerning the municipal conciliation centers, Conesa highlights the importance of precise reports and protocols before establishing these spaces where the bubbles of the educational community on which Murcian schools are working would break.He has also made mention of the opening of sports competitions, leaving the municipalities alone, lacking adequate protocols to guarantee security.
