The liberal training recalls that the General Directorate of Youth of the regional Government in coalition offers the training of Youth Health AgentsCiudadanos Mula considers it necessary to make a greater effort in the prevention of gambling addiction that achieves extreme measures, especially in families with children, adolescents, youth and vulnerable population.

The coordinator of the training in Mula, Francisco Javier Martínez, regrets that recent studies on the prevalence of gambling in adolescents detect the first experiences at the age of 15, but there are also other additions such as cannabis and alcohol, the latter being “ the substance whose consumption is more widespread and with an earlier average age of onset ”.The liberal formation has submitted a request to the Mula government team to develop a Local Plan for the Prevention of Youth Addictions.

The Citizens' proposal aims to encourage the realization of informative activities focused on adolescents to deepen their use of online games, gambling, alcohol and cannabis consumption, and possible derived problems.

Regarding gambling, Francisco Javier Martínez claims that "as soon as possible a critical and anti-gambling attitude is fostered, we will help to delay the starting age, avoiding the presence of favorable gambling beliefs such as the expectations of success and the low perception of risk".A fundamental role is also played by mothers and fathers, which is why it seeks to offer training "so that they are aware of this reality and can act in the best possible way." In addition, the Muleño city council is urged to carry out a prevention campaign that contains warnings and recommendations on social networks and to collaborate closely with addiction care associations, "we must promote healthy leisure alternatives."Francisco Javier Martínez recalls that the General Directorate of Youth of the regional Government in coalition offers the training of Youth Health Agents in order to establish a point of information on health in youth spaces and town hall, thus facilitating care, advice or guidance to young people.
