Juan Jesús Moreno asks the president of the Community for flexibility in the hospitality sector against the 'curfew'The mayor of Mula, Juan Jesús Moreno, participated this Friday morning in a telematic meeting between the president of the Community, Fernando López Miras, and the mayors of the municipalities of the Region of Murcia.During the meeting, the president explained what the 'curfew' proposed by the Government of Spain would consist of and how it would be applied in the municipalities, since it could be approved by the Superior Court of Justice and enter into force in the coming days.Among other aspects, a balance has been made of the health crisis situation in the Region of Murcia, “with very high data”, which would lead to this 'curfew' being finally implemented in the Community, presumably from 11 p.m.
to 6 in the morning.Moreno highlighted this fact that “I have strongly insisted to the president that he be very flexible on this matter focused on the hospitality sector, so that the hoteliers are damaged as much as possible.
It is a sector that at the moment is being greatly affected by the situation and we must make sure that the measures affect them as little as possible ”, he stated. The mayor of Mula has also placed special emphasis on the need to establish more trackers, as a fundamental aspect to follow positive cases.
It has also highlighted the importance of controlling sports competitions to a great extent to avoid possible outbreaks in this area.
"We have to combine all efforts so that there are the least problems within sports competitions and we can alternate leisure and sports with the daily life."
