The Councilors for Culture and Information Technology and Communication, together with the coordinator of the Municipal Archive, Antonio Gabarr n, and the person in charge of computing and networks of the Mula City Council, Jos Mar a Bot , they have presented this Thursday the new channel of YouTube of the Municipal Archive of Mula where the Muleños and anyone interested can already enjoy part of the audiovisual material that Jos Lu s Piñero produced for television by cable and donated to the Archive for its cataloging, conservation and dissemination with highly relevant graphic material from the last 26 years of the municipality's life. These recordings began to be made for local television broadcasts in 1987.
In 1999, due to the interest of the communicator so that the images were not lost, they were donated to the Archive, donations that lasted until 2013 and where a set of 1,678 VHS tape drives and 398 DVDs were recorded. Currently, more than 900 VHS tapes have been digitized, the content of which will be uploaded little by little in the YouTube channel of the Municipal Archive, which already has the first 200 published tapes and is available to anyone who wants to.

During the event, in addition, the family of Jos Guti rrez Moya, 'Josel n', has delivered to the Archive material from an outstanding audiovisual archive that collects some of the most important moments, parties, activities sports, views of Mula and the region, in total a collection of 216 VHS tapes that range from 1991 to 2008 and that will also be digitized and will be complementary to the existing archive. All this graphic material is already part of the visual heritage of the history of Mula, the same one that future generations will enjoy. The Councilor for Information and Communication Technologies, Pedro Aurelio Llamas, wanted to show enormous gratitude to both Jos Luis Piñero and the family of Jos Guti rrez for the transfer of the file as How to encourage those who possess this type of material to trust the Archive as the safest place for their conservation and protection.
