In its beginnings, the Hermandad de Labradores, in collaboration with the Muleño town council, were in charge of organizing the festivities coinciding with the celebration of the festival in honor of San Isidro including the procession with the image of the Saint Labrador, food offering, street folklore exhibitions offered by the Group of Choirs and Dances, parade of floats and reading by Bando Huertano. Little by little, the Muleños began to get involved in the celebration by creating peñas and folklore groups, with the resurgence of the tradition, and observing how each year the number of peñas huertanas grows and the number of visitors to other municipalities in the Murcia region. In recent years, in addition, new activities have been incorporated into these festivals such as the installation of tents in Crist bal Gabarr n Park, a gachasmigas contest organized by the Hermandad de Labradores, as well as samples of folklore performed throughout the weekend ensuring that this tradition is not lost over time and providing its own identity for this party.
