The project proposes actions to prevent youth depopulation in small towns by promoting training in hospitality and environmental tourism and self-entrepreneurship The Department of Youth of the City of Mula has sent a letter to the general director of Youth, Raul Puche, where he conveys the interest of the municipality of Mula to be part of the initiative launched by the Department of Tourism, Youth and Sports, framed in the 'Juventur' project, a challenge to avoid youth depopulation by promoting training in hospitality and environmental tourism and self-entrepreneurship. The head of Youth in Mula, Laura Salas, highlights the importance of this initiative that will help curb depopulation and that will benefit those areas of the population that suffer greater neglect, which in turn, results in the loss of jobs and businesses . According to the letter, Mula has six districts of which La Puebla and El Niño de Mula are located 3 kilometers from the urban area, Los Baños de Mula and Yéchar 6 kilometers away and Casas Nuevas and Fuente Librilla around 20 and 22 kilometres.
"All of them are inhabited and are suffering in recent years a decline in the number of residents, especially young people, and businesses that are forced to close due to the lack of population for their survival," explains the councilor. The City Council has been working so that these residents continue to have quality of life in their districts and are not forced to abandon them for lack of services as well as encourage the arrival of people from other locations. It is for this reason that Mula has shown his interest in being part of this project and being able to include his districts in the actions derived from this project.
