The Civil Guard in the region of Murcia, in the context of services aimed at preventing and prosecuting drug trafficking, developed in Mula operation 'THREAD', an investigation that has culminated in the dismantling of an active criminal organization, with the arrest of three members, as alleged perpetrators of cultivation, processing and trafficking of drugs.
They have been seized over a thousand plants of cannabis sativa in different stages of growth, pesticides, microscopes, grinders, sifters, fertilizer, solvents, airtight bags, computer equipment and documentation related to drug trafficking and two vehicles.
The operation last June began when the Civil Guard was investigating an isolated house, located in a rural area of ​​Mula, where supposedly marijuana plants were grown.
Once located the property, the Meritorious ordered the surveillance of the farm, located in an environment of difficult access, with a single entrance flanked by a promenade and large trees that prevented glimpse whole, difficult discrete policing.
The result of these continuous surveillance, researchers identified people who regularly went to the place.
Two young men and a third of middle-aged, Spanish and Dutch nationalities presumably kept on the farm under investigation, the necessary elements to realize the cultivation and handling of large quantities of marijuana plants.
After obtaining the necessary evidence and observed the illicit production of cannabis sativa, the Civil Guard has informed of the judicial authority of the outcome of the investigation which has been authorized entry and search warrant.
Registration has resulted in the seizure of a thousand plants of cannabis sativa in different stages of growth, seeds and cannabis oil and all labware and handling necessary for processing and distribution as microscopes, grinders, sifters, fertilizer , solvents, airtight bags, computer equipment and documentation related to drug trafficking and two vehicles, all of which have been seized and made available to the judicial authority.
Placing on the illicit drug market cultivated
The developed research shows that the now arrested were a perfectly structured and provided with the necessary means to strengthen the drug business since its inception criminal organization: the acquisition of raw materials, through processing and packaging, ending with his transport and distribution on the illicit market.
The operation, which is framed in the 'Plan against trafficking, consumption and production of drugs' has culminated in the arrest of three men, ranging in age between 30 and 57 years of Spanish and Dutch nationalities, and Murcia and residents in Torrevieja (Alicante) to which are credited with authorship of the alleged offenses cultivation, processing and trafficking of drugs.
With this operation, the Civil Guard has eradicated an active criminal organization allegedly used an isolated house by way of intensive farming center and laboratory processing of cannabis with a high production capacity and equipped with the necessary means to 'place 'on the illicit market drugs produced.
