The Civil Guard of the Region of Murcia has developed the operation 'TORRECICA', a research developed within the services aimed at preventing and prosecuting drug trafficking, which has resulted in the dismantling of a clandestine marijuana greenhouse, installed in a Mula's home, and the arrest of three people alleged to have been involved in criminal activity related to drug trafficking.
The operation began when it was found that a home in the suburbs of Mula could be linked to illegal cultivation of marijuana.
The Benemérita established a wide device to carry out surveillance on the property and its users with the aim of gathering all possible indications and, if necessary, stopping the criminal activity.
The investigation allowed the agents to verify the existence of a plantation of marijuana, among other indications, by the strong smell that emanated of the property.
It was also verified that in the house there was an illegal connection to the electric current with a high consumption defraudado, not corresponding with the usual expenditure of a domicile, but rather with that of a company in operation.
After identifying the people who were behind the alleged criminal activity and once obtained all the necessary indications, the Civil Guard has made, before judicial authorization, the entrance and the registry in the house in which a clandestine greenhouse of marijuana was found Indoor type.
The cultivation had been installed in the ground floor of the house and distributed in five rooms perfectly equipped with the installation of illumination and refrigeration, where the plantation of cannabis sativa was hidden with 639 plants of marijuana of about 60 cm of height.
There were also 212 cuttings of marijuana plants, 4.3 kg of dry marijuana in buds arranged for distribution, 2.3 gr.
Of hachis and utensils used for cultivation in the interior of the plantation, including 51 large halogen lamps, 44 reactances, 12 electric extractors, 9 fans, 5 air conditioners, a precision scale and 8,400 euros, being dismantled the installation.
During the registration, the three persons involved in the enlightened criminal activity were arrested, who are alleged to have committed a crime against public health and an offense of defrauding the electric fluid, the latter after verifying that all the infrastructure and machinery used To control the temperature, humidity and lighting of the house were fraudulently connected to the electrical network with an illegal hook to the supply.
The arrested two men and one woman, Spaniards, between 35 and 43 years, and neighbors of Mula and Murcia, the drug seized, the effects seized and the investigations have been made available to the Court of Instruction number 1 of Mula (Murcia ).
