The head of the regional Executive, Fernando López Miras, met today at the Palacio de San Esteban with the mayor of Mula, Juan Jesus Moreno, with whom he addressed some issues that are priority for the municipality in cultural matters and tourism promotion, as well others related to infrastructures, specifically with access to the village of Fuente Librilla.
During this meeting they also spoke about the promotional impulse that the City Council wants to give at the International Tourism Fair (Fitur 2018) to the National Exaltation Days of the Drum and the Bombo, which are celebrated in Mula next March and where it is expected the visit of between 15,000 and 20,000 people from five autonomous communities.
They also discussed the next inauguration of the new museum of the city of Mula, after the works undertaken in the convent of San Francisco.
In addition, the mayor transferred to the president the proposal to change the name of Lope de Vega de Mula Theater to Pablo Piñero Theater, who was the owner and favorite Son of the municipality, who died recently.
