The socialist senator from Murcia, Juan Luis Soto, has expressed his satisfaction with the institutional declaration of support for the tamboradas that was held this afternoon at the Committee on Culture of the Senate, promoted by the parliamentarian of the PSOE.
The members of the Commission have signed a text that shows "the recognition and its total support to the National Consortium of the Peoples of the Drum and Bass of Spain, for being the Tamboradas, rituals of the drum and bass drum, the the only candidacy that is presented by Spain before UNESCO, to "Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity" for the year 2018.
In the text it is remembered that the Drum and the Drum have become tradition and symbol that identifies an important number of towns of the Spanish geography.
It is also specified that in 1983 the drum becomes an emblem of friendship and harmony between peoples with the same tradition.
So on September 18 of that year, a group of residents of the Beautiful City of Mula headed by D.
