The government delegate in the Region of Murcia, Rafael González Tovar, the mayor of Mula, Diego Cervantes, and the Director General of Sports, Antonio Peñalver, participated in the inauguration of the new sports facilities that Mula Sports Complex from now renamed "José Soriano Espinosa" Chacon "Mula Sports."
González Tovar reported that the Government of Spain has invested 450,000 euros in new facilities across the Plan E and investment of the Higher Sports Council.
The delegate explained that thanks to the State Fund of 2009 have built new dressing rooms and toilets at the sports complex for an amount of 300,000 euros.
The floor area of such action is 400 square meters, which was equipped with two dressing rooms, for materials, multi-purpose, maintenance and boilers.
We have also installed new toilets.
Moreover, Tovar Gonzalez also explained that the Sports Council has invested 150,000 euros, from 1 percent of the proceeds of National Lottery and Gambling in Quinielas modality for the promotion of amateur football, in the construction of two new soccer fields with artificial turf and paving of the surrounding terrain that will in the future to expand the Sports Centre.
The funding of these works also attended by General Directorate of Sports, with 300,000 euros and the City of Mula, 250,000 euros.
González Tovar has highlighted the investment effort of the Government of Spain in the best sports town and explained that in addition to previous investments also funds the State Fund, 2010 new sports facilities in the neighborhood of the Immaculate, the Barrio de San Felipe and the Municipal Sports Centre with a total investment of 162,000 euros.
