Along the institute participate Mülenen centers in Germany, Poland, Estonia, Austria and France
The Bank Grammar School in Los Molinos de Mula next school year will participate in the Comenius Project with other centers in Germany, Poland, Estonia, Austria and France.
The mayor of Mula, Diego Cervantes, was in charge today, with the director of the institute Mülenen, Martin Jimenez, receiving delegations representing some of these centers.
The Comenius Project is an activity funded by the European Community, located at the Socrates National Agency and which seeks the development and understanding between various European cultures through exchanges and cooperation between schools in different countries.
Comenius enables school communities to establish social relationships with educational institutions in different countries.
This contact creates a new context for learning with an added benefit of developing social and communication skills of students.
Most students are unaware of the social tradition, cultural, artistic and environmentally aware of their own nation as other countries.
The objective of this program is to improve students' knowledge of these issues and therefore encourage a respectful attitude that involves the conservation of each region's heritage.
Families also play an important role in this program because they will be hosting the students who come to the town and Mülenen in their trips abroad.
The project developed in Mula is intended for students of 4 º ESO and will be held during the academic year 2011/12 and 2012/13.
