The Regional Executive has approved an agreement between the Ministry of Universities and Research Company and the City of Mula for the definition and implementation of the measures envisaged in the Plan to promote the recruitment of energy services (Plan 2000 ESE).
The aim is to encourage savings and energy efficiency in municipal facilities.
Through this agreement, the Ministry will promote the realization of the work to learn what steps you can take to increase energy efficiency of municipal facilities and reduce the economic cost for this item.
Once the results show the potential for improved energy management of municipal facilities, the City will proceed to a competitive tender for the operation of energy systems in their facilities by an Energy Service Company (ESCO), which will be responsible for making the necessary investments and management facilities to obtain this optimization.
The lines of financial support will target the recruitment of technical assistance required to make the diagnosis prior to the preparation of tender documents.
