So far, we have clarified three counts of robbery with violence perpetrated during the last weekend

The Guardia Civil of the Region of Murcia has developed an investigation into a series of robberies committed during the last weekend in Mula, which has resulted in the arrest of four members of a gang, including one minor, suspected of the crimes investigated.

In research conducted by the Civil Guard in cooperation with the local police in Mula, have been clarified, so far, three counts of armed robbery.

Policemen specialized in safety prevention began research on hearing of committing several armed robberies in the streets near the entertainment areas of Mula, about events that had caused alarm among the population.

They chose their victims from intoxicated persons

The victims of the band were chosen from among citizens of South American origin that showed symptoms of intoxication, thereby getting a clear superiority when committing their crimes.

Once selected the victim, performing on this track as he returned to his home, and in a quiet street to avoid detection, the addressing, the gripped hard and, in some cases, violently pushed her into losing the balance until fall.

Finally, unlawful activity culminated with the removal of all valuable effects that could lead the victim at the time.

These same events were repeated up to three times in one weekend, coming to cause injury to the victims because of the violent attitude of the band.

The investigations carried out by the Civil Guard, in cooperation with the local police Mula, allowed to fully identify the four members of the band were later located, arrested and brought to justice.

Detained

As part of the transaction, we proceeded to the arrest of four people, including a minor, to which is attributed the authorship of three counts of robbery, all identified as:

- Ringleader, Spanish, age 27 and resident of Mula.

- Spanish, 21 years old and a resident of Mula.

- Spanish, 43 years and resident of Mula.

- A minor.

All detainees have numerous criminal record for similar crimes.

Detainees and proceedings have been made available to the Court of Instruction No. 1 Mula and the Office of Children of Murcia.
