The Minister of Education, Culture and Universities, Pedro Antonio Sánchez and the Mayor of Mula, José Iborra, closed this week the third annual workshop on watercolor techniques that has given the artist Mulenen Nono García.
This course, with the collaboration of the Department of Culture of Mula, out because there are currently few workshops that deal with this technique in many universities and is a practice that overlooked due to its complexity.
For this reason, many of the students are students of Fine Arts, and have completed other technical professionals proficient, but not this one, and fans who want to start, coming from all over the country.
The Minister of Culture, Pedro Antonio Sánchez said that "thanks to these courses as taught by great artists like Nono García, are what make Mula is a cultural reference. Besides, are helping in training the young promises of the Fine Arts" .
Given the success of this course is to conduct another workshop on days 11, 12 and 13 August.
As a novelty, the workshop has been held in the Convent of San Francisco, so this is the first activity that is done in this newly restored historic building.
Nono Garcia has taught watercolor in other parts of the Region, and an international workshop last year at the Museum of the City Paper Fabriano (Italy), where at the same time performed a solo show.
Another recent work by this artist has been Mulenen Poster 45th International Festival of Theatre, Music and Dance in San Javier, which is also exposing until 28 August at the City Museum, the exhibition 'The truth of the visible '.
