The Minister of Industry, Tourism, Enterprise and Innovation, Juan Carlos Ruiz, presented today along with the mayor of Mula, José Iborra, and responsible hospitality of the Association of Merchants and Hosteleros Mula (Acohomul), Micaela Fernández, the fourth edition of the Ruta de la Tapa and Cocktail municipality, to be held from February 20 to March 22, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
Ruiz moved the support of the Ministry for this initiative, which "has a double meaning, first, serves to boost economic and commercial activity of the municipality and the region and, moreover, contributes to seasonally adjusted tourism demand".
The regional head of Tourism said that "the path is an event that has become a tourist and shopping for the town, attracting many visitors from all parts of the Region and other neighboring communities."
La Ruta de la Tapa and Mule cocktail will this year with 34 participants, 23 bars and restaurants on the route from the top and 11 cafes and pubs on the route cocktail.
The price caps will be two euros drink lid and two euros cocktail.
The initiative also includes a contest to choose the top and winning cocktail of the route, according to the assessments made consumers.
Also, consumers who complete the route may choose to draw a check for 300 euros and a book of two free drinks at home for the next route.
Visitors can purchase a brochure with a map of all participants in the initiative establishments and a photo of tapas entering the contest and can appreciate.
