A group of 19 young people from different Spanish autonomous communities participate for four days in a training course for volunteers to be held at the Youth Hostel of Mula of 3 to 6 October.
After this period, young people begin their volunteer service in different countries of Europe, Africa and South and Central America.
This meeting, organized by the Spanish National Agency (ENA), through the Institute of Youth in the Region of Murcia, is integrated into a training cycle of the European Voluntary Service (EVS).
It is aimed at young people between 18 and 30 who perform a period of volunteering abroad.
Specifically, the course to be held in Mule 'Training Output' is the first of four to be attended during his charitable work, and aims to be a support and training tool for participants that will be useful for personal development, social and work in the future.
Through this course will also receive information and advice to facilitate their integration into the host country and the course of their work as volunteers.
The 19 young people participating in this program come from different Spanish regions and in the coming months will begin their volunteer activity in countries such as Turkey, Austria, Italy, Bulgaria, France, Ireland, Portugal, Malta, Greece, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Ecuador and Guinea Bissau.
The course is integrated within the activities of the 'Youth in Action ", funded by DG Education and Culture of the European Union.
This service provides young people the opportunity to participate as volunteers in a foreign country within or outside the European Union, seeking solidarity, mutual understanding and tolerance among young people, and contribute to strengthening social cohesion in the European Union and promote active citizenship.
