The Minister of Public Works and Planning, José Ballesta, today signed a collaboration agreement with the mayor of Mula, Diego Cervantes, to build a housing development for young protected in two parcels of municipal ownership transferred to the Institute of Housing and Land in the Region of Murcia (IVS).
After the signing, the IVS awarded through public bidding, execution of works alienating the plots to the company winning the contest.
According to the counselor said, "This initiative of the Institute for Housing and Land in the Region of Murcia reflects the commitment of the regional executive to provide young Murcia access to housing through the Youth Housing Plan for the region."
The land where the buildings will rise, which will have parking, have an area of 523 and 402 square feet and are located in the Avenida de la Paz de Mula.
The regional government promotes qualified housing development within the Youth Housing Plan in the municipalities of Eagles, Sewer, Archena, Blanca, Fortuna, Jumilla, Mazarrón Molina de Segura Moratalla and Specifications, and for this purpose is promoting the construction in other towns of Alhama de Murcia, Cartagena, Cieza, Fuente Alamo, Lorqui Cotillas Towers and Yecla.
Therefore, Ballesta recalled that "many young people in the Region are benefiting from the Regional Youth Housing Plan, through collaboration between the Community and local governments, as well as investments made in recent months under Revitalization Plan launched by the regional government in March last year.
