Thirteen artisans of the region and Drums Association gather at the Exhibition of Handicrafts of the Region of Murcia will be opened tomorrow (at 13:15 am in the Christopher Park Gabarrón, Paseo de San Cristobal de Mula) by the Director General of Trade and Crafts, Julio José Lorenzo, and the local mayor, Diego Cervantes.
This exhibition, organized by the Ministry of Universities, Business and Research, through the Directorate General of Commerce and Handicrafts, in collaboration with City of Mula, with 15 stands where the visitor can find a wide variety of handicrafts as toys, costumes, typical food Murcia or ceramic.
Specifically, the sample involved Drums Association Mula, José Piñero Páez (makers of musical instruments), Angel Luis Miñano (beekeeper), Beatriz Regional Costumes (tailor and carnival costumes), Palancares (cheese), Belchí Salas (oiler and miller), Francisco Guillén Boluda (weaver of rugs), Juan García Galiano (esterero and esparto basket maker and unique artisan Murcia working the bulrushes), Martinez and Cervantes (lace), Matias Zamora Guillen (esterero and basket-maker's spelled), Encarna González (butcher), Fernando Martinez and Bakery Amparo Sánchez (both bakers)
The trade and craft shows is part of the line of action developed by the Ministry of Universities, Business and Research to promote regional handicrafts "giving maximum publicity and making available to the craftsmen all the necessary tools to grow professionally and make their Business becoming stronger and more competitive, adapt to market needs and an increasingly demanding public, "said Julio José Lorenzo.
The exhibition will be open from Saturday until 27 at time 19:00 to 23:00 hours.
Also, tomorrow, Sunday, time expands and opens in the morning, from 11:00 to 14:00.
