The Government Delegate in Murcia, Rafael González Tovar, Mula has attended today the presentation of the Mobile Commerce pilot project aimed at modernizing the retail and the Government of Spain has financed five Spanish cities, including mule and Cehegín.
González Tovar explained that the project is fully funded by the Ministry of Industry, Tourism and Trade, for an amount of 174,000 euros (nearly 30 million pesetas).
This is an initiative promoted by the Spanish Confederation of Commerce, and framed within the Avanza Plan SMEs to facilitate small and medium businesses the gradual incorporation of information technologies and communications to their business processes in order to contribute to improve their productivity and competitiveness.
He also said that it was an example of collaboration and combined efforts of public and private entities, including the City Council is Mule and the Mule Traders Association (ACOMUL), the Employers' Federation North West Trade and Rio Mula (FECONORM) and the Employers Federation of Commerce of Murcia (EMCF), among others.

The Avanza Plan in the Region of Murcia
The Government delegate reported that the Mobile Commerce program is framed within the so-called Plan Avanza, launched by the Government of Spain in 2006 and has has its second edition from 2009 to 2012 and whose main objective is to get in Spain all citizens access to information technologies and communication and foster a competitive and dynamic economy in the world.
For this, the Avanza Plan is developed in business, with special attention to SMEs, governments, promoting electronic services, education, facilitating access for both college and precollege students to ICT and citizens by providing access for all Spanish households communication technologies and information and promoting special measures for disadvantaged sectors such as DTT decoders campaign for people in disadvantaged situations and aid for the purchase of computers.
The outlay budget for this purpose, recalled that in the period 2006-2008, the Government of Spain invested under the Avanza Plan in the Region of 115.8 million euros (19,300 million pesetas).
EGovernment Program
