The councilman of Culture, Alonso Sánchez Romero, accompanied by the writer, Francisco Ros, presented yesterday the publication National Award City Stories Mula that collects stories of the contest winners and runners-up story that organizes every year the City of Mula and matches events organized to celebrate the Feast Day of the Book.
The publication includes relevant stories from 2003 to 2007, the second collection of this event is being presented.
Among the winners are writers from different parts of the country, Sevilla, Santander or Madrid, and a significant number of Murcia.
Some of the winners in the contest Mula stories have been recognized in other competitions, which indicates the quality of participants year after year have gone through the competition Mülenen.
Francisco Ros, who did a check of all the stories in the book and recognized the handwriting of the same, highlighted the gender that can be derived from reading the book and a theme that has been common in many of them as death, which is involved in many of the stories.
The illustration on the cover of the book is the work of Resu Mülenen Ros, who was unable to attend the presentation because they were out of town.
Also, the contest has had stories Mülenen important and prominent feathers of regional culture as jurors, who also appreciated the interest shown by this event year after year.
The councilman of Culture encouraged all attendees, who also received a copy of the book, to apply at City Hall the previous issue of this contest and even winning stories of the years 2008 and 2009 are published in little paperback books.
